Community Booths

*UPDATE 3/1/21*

Farmers markets have long been places to gather and build community. However, this season we must physically distance and resist the urge to linger and socialize. We each have a critical role to play to slow down the spread of COVID-19.

In order to accommodate physical distancing requirements and help keep our community safe, the Northeast Farmers Market is suspending activities where people gather, which includes hosting guest nonprofit organizations.

We hope to continue this tradition in late 2021. Thank you for your understanding.

We are committed to engaging the community beyond the Market.

Every Saturday we proudly offer community booth space to small, local non-profit organizations to do outreach and education at our market. In 2019, we reached out to over twenty non-profits and neighborhood organizations and businesses in Northeast Minneapolis.

Some of our guests from 2019:

  • U of M Master Gardeners

  • Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board

  • Minnesota Literacy Council

  • Women's Advocates

  • Minneapolis Toy Library

  • ONE Campaign

  • The Meditation Center

  • My Very Own Bed

  • Sexual Violence Center

  • Eastside Meals on Wheels

  • Friends of the Northeast Library

  • Friends of Pierre Bottineau Library

  • Tech Dump

  • Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition

Dates are reserved on a first come, first served basis beginning July 1st, 2021. We reserve the right to refuse space to anyone. No products may be sold at the market by the non-profit. Does not apply to Winter Market.

Signature-gathering, petitioning, leafleting, partisan political groups, and political campaigning may happen at the entrances to the market, but those groups are not granted space within the market.
